This page explains what cynthialundquist.com collects and why. Questions are welcome at hello@cynthialundquist.com.

When you browse

We use Google Analytics to see which pages and paintings people look at, how they found the site, the city and country they’re browsing from, and the kind of device. It uses cookies and starts once you scroll, tap or click. We never send it your name, your email or anything you type into a form, and we don’t use it for advertising. You can block it in your browser’s privacy settings or with Google’s opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Our website host keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a short time to keep the site secure and working.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages get used: where people scroll, tap and click, shown as heatmaps and anonymous replays. It never records what you type, and photos you add to “See it on your wall” or the Commission Studio are hidden from it. It also uses cookies and starts once you scroll, tap or click.

We count visits from search engines and AI assistants, such as Googlebot and ChatGPT, by the name they give. People are never part of that count.

When you scan one of our QR codes or use one of our short links, we count the scan by code and date only.

When you write to Cynthia

The contact, commission and designer trade forms send what you enter to Cynthia’s inbox so she can reply.

A Commission Studio photo goes to our AI image service, OpenAI, only to make the preview, and to Cynthia’s inbox only if you send your request.

“See it on your wall” runs entirely in your browser. Your wall photo never leaves your device.

The studio list

If you join, we keep your email address with our email service to send occasional notes. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Print orders

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. We email you order and shipping updates.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your information, share it for advertising, or use ad trackers.

Your choices

Email hello@cynthialundquist.com to ask what we have about you, or to correct or delete it.

The site doesn’t change how it works for browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Children

This site isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
